The second season of “The Beginning After the End” consists of a total of twelve episodes, which will be broadcast on Japanese television every Wednesday since April 1, 2026 and shown in simulcast on Crunchyroll.
The animation studio A-CAT is once again responsible for producing the sequel, with Keitarou Motonaga (“The Kingdoms of Ruin”) directing and Takamitsu Kouno (“The 100 Girlfriends”) writing the script.
The twelve-part first season of “The Beginning After the End” ran in Japan between April and June 2025 and is already included in the original soundtrack with German subtitles in the streaming service’s program.
