Nintendo Switch: RPGs benefit from a new wave of promotions on the eShop



If you were waiting for the right time to fill your RPG backlog on Nintendo Switchit has arrived. The European eShop has just launched a new round of massive discounts, driven by the “Find and play” campaign and several publisher operations in parallel.

La Crème du Gaming points out that Nintendo rarely lets prices fall below $1.99 (around €1.90), which sets the floor around €1.99 on the eShop. Black Future ’88 reaches this threshold: €1.99 instead of €19.99 (-90%) until April 12. This ultra-nervous 2D roguelite stacks fast runs, loot and persistent progression, perfect for short sessions between two big JRPGs.

Another nugget, Slay the Spire drops to €6.24 instead of €24.99 (-75%). This roguelike deckbuilder has become a reference thanks to its dozens of hours of theorycrafting and card synergies. The exact period depends on the operation in progress, so you have to check the end date directly on the eShop sheet, but it is one of the best content/price ratios of this wave.

Concretely, with a budget of around ten euros, you can already associate Black Future ’88 to another little RPG on sale.
