On the official X account of »Sound! Euphonium” (Japanese: “Hibike! Euphonium”) a new trailer for the upcoming film was released today. You can find the video and a visual further down in this article.
Premiering in April 2026
The film is called »Sound! Euphonium: The Final Movie, Part 1″ and will premiere in Japanese cinemas on April 24, 2026. How many parts there will be in total has not yet been revealed.
As with the associated series, the Kyoto Animation studio was responsible for the production, with Taichi Ogawa (Assistant Director on “Sound! Euphonium 3”) directing and Tatsuya Ishihara acting as Chief Director.
The theme song “ToCoda”, which can be heard in the trailer, comes from the Japanese singer TRUE (ending song of “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime”), who has already contributed the opening songs to all three seasons of the series.
The anime adaptation of »Sound! Euphonium« so far includes three seasons, two recap films, a spin-off film and a sequel film. All episodes are available on-demand on Crunchyroll, while the spin-off film “Liz and the Blue Bird” is available on DVD and Blu-ray through LEONINE Anime.

In the spring of her first year of high school, Kumiko, once in the middle school concert band, attends the music club with Hazuki and Sapphire.
There she meets her former classmate Reina. While the two want to join immediately, Kumiko is undecided, thinking back to a competition they played together in middle school.
