New teaser for the second “TenSura” movie + visual


A new teaser for the upcoming second film was published today on the X account of the anime adaptation of “My Rebirth as a Slime in Another World” (Japanese: “Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken”). You can find the video below.

Premiering in February 2026

The new film is titled “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Tears of the Azure Sea” and will premiere in Japan on February 27, 2026. Crunchyroll has secured the license for the film and is showing it in cinemas in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. A date is still open.

The studio 8-Bit is once again responsible for the production, with Yasuhito Kikuchi (“Comet Lucifer”) directing and writing the script together with Toshizou Nemoto. The theme song “Utopia” is contributed by TRUE.

The “TenSura” main series now includes three seasons and a first film called “Feuerrote Gange”. The fourth season, which will be broadcast over five courses (three months each), starts on April 3, 2026.
