One of the new features of the Pokémon Legends ZA Mega-Dimension DLC is the introduction of Mega Evolution variants. In short, Pokémon that already have Mega Evolution can now adopt a Z form, like Lucario. This is also the case for Garchacrok which now benefits a second mega-evolved form with Mega Garchomp Z. this new transformation is mainly distinguished by its serrated wings.
As with the fighting wolf, this form will have advantages over the classic form (but also different disadvantages). To collect the Carchacrikite Z Mega Gem, go to the online settings and collect the Mystery Gift. This unlocks a new dimensional rift allowing you to face Mega Garchomp Z and obtain the gem after defeating it.
