Still stuck in March
The release date of Marathon is now the subject of a leak caused by the Xbox Store. It was via Reddit that this was relayed, with a filmed teaser which appeared briefly on the online store and which shows us that Marathon is supposed to be released on March 5, 2026. If this has yet to be confirmed by Sony and Bungie, everything suggests that this date is very real given the video that was broadcast.
This is not surprising since Bungie has confirmed that it must release its game during the month of March, but a confirmation would not hurt given that the public could also expect a postponement, given that its release had been postponed the first time. We are now waiting to see what happens, and in the meantime, the latest video from the studio gave us much more information on the overhaul carried out on the various Runner builds that we will be able to discover at launch, with new gameplay images to boot.
Marathon is expected on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
