Publisher Hardball Films recently announced that they would be releasing the anime classic “Hellsing” in a steelbook edition on Blu-ray. Pre-ordering is already possible.
Release in June 2026
The complete box set of “Hellsing” will be available in German stores on June 5, 2026 as a steelbook edition on Blu-ray. The new edition includes all 13 episodes with German and Japanese dubbing as well as a booklet, an art card and stickers as an extra.
The Gonzo studio was responsible for the production of the horror series, which was first broadcast on Japanese television from October 2001 to January 2002, and was directed by Yasunori Urata (“Blood+”).
The anime adaptation of the manga of the same name by Kouta Hirano was released on DVD in this country by OVA Films in 2003 and most recently in a complete edition by Nipponart. Both publishers have also released the “Hellsing Ultimate” OVA, which is a completely new adaptation.

The Hellsing organization under Lady Integra protects England and its people from vampires. Their strongest weapon is Alucard, a vampire who fights for humans and hunts his kind for unknown reasons.
At his side is Seras Victoria, a former police officer whom he once saved by turning her into a vampire himself.
