A few hours after the launch of Chapter 7, leaks are already starting to circulate in the Fortnite community. It was notably via the SpushFNBR X account that images of the next Battle Pass were shared, revealing seven main skins and a surprise collaboration from the first level.
Among these appearances, we find an iconic figure of cinema: the Bride of Kill Bill. If the images are to be believed, Uma Thurman’s skin could be unlocked immediately after purchasing the Battle Pass or through the Fortnite Crew subscription. This is the first time that this iconic character has entered the game.
The return of Marty McFly and a still mysterious bonus skin
Another cult figure announced: Marty McFly. This skin from “Back to the Future” should be part of the Season 1 rewards. But obtaining it would not be immediate: players will probably have to wait several weeks to access a series of thematic quests.
As is often the case, the bonus skin, generally unlocked towards the end of the season, could also be a collaboration. Speculation is rife around the astronaut with the golden helmet, seen on the majority of promotional visuals. This skin could be that of level 100, reserved for the most invested players.
A Battle Pass more scripted than it seems
Epic Games seems to be focusing once again on immersive storytelling with this Battle Pass. Chapter 7 begins after the Zero Hour event, which could mark the destruction of the Battle Bus. According to leaks, players will no longer start their game by jumping from a flying bus, but by surfing a giant wave towards the island, thus changing the dynamic of arrival.
This spectacular transition coincides with the studio’s desire to break traditional codes. The Battle Pass will support this shift by offering symbolic characters and rewards unlocked via scripted quests. An already proven model, but here visibly taken to a new level.
A Season 1 marked by collaborations and progressive rewards
The format of the Battle Pass remains unchanged: seven skins spread over several levels, a bonus skin, levels to climb via XP, and new cosmetic items to unlock. But this leak suggests a more gradual pace in access to collaborations, with a system of weekly quests conditioning certain rewards.
For Fortnite Crew subscribers, the possibility of faster access to certain outfits remains relevant. This system further strengthens the engagement of the most loyal players. Finally, other leaks already suggest new cosmetic items and a possible skin evolution mechanic during the season, but nothing has yet been officially confirmed.
