Fortnite: 200 free V-Bucks to collect without paying, here’s how to do it

For the fashion faithful Save the WorldFortnite has a precious surprise in store for January 22, 2026. Players with Founder access can pocket 200 V-Bucks without paying a centprovided you complete certain missions before midnight. An opportunity as quick as it is ephemeral, which risks going under the radar of many players less attentive to card rotation. “An opportunity to secure 200 V-Bucks at no extra cost is active via Fortnite’s Save the World mode.” This bonus is completely legitimate, secured by Epic Games, and can be transferred into Battle Royale mode as soon as it is acquired.

Specific missions to complete, no automatic bonus

Unlike some previous rewards earned simply by logging in, these 200 V-Bucks require real in-game commitment. The bonus is conditional on the successful completion of four Miniboss alert missionsidentified on the Save the World mode map.

  • PlankertonFight the storm : 50 V-Bucks
  • Canny ValleyRide the lightning : 50 V-Bucks
  • Twin PeaksRepair the shelter (Tropics): 50 V-Bucks
  • Twin PeaksRepair the shelter (Ghost Town): 50 V-Bucks

“These missions offer, as of January 22, 2026, a cumulative total of 200 V-Bucks.”

It is important to note that some missions require a high power level. Fortunately, it is still possible to reach them via a grouping with a higher level player.

A strict deadline: the offer expires at 00:00

The pressure is real. Like all Save the World alerts, these missions will be automatically replaced at midnightduring the daily server rotation. No need to launch a mission at 11:59 p.m.: if it does not end before the deadline, the V-Bucks will not be awarded. “It is imperative to start and finish the games before this specific deadline.”

V-Bucks are immediately usable in Battle Royale

No bad surprises here: the V-Bucks obtained in Save the World are not blocked in this PvE mode. They are added to overall balance Epic Games of the user, and can therefore be spent upon receipt in the Battle Royale. “Yes, V-Bucks earned in Save the World mode are linked to the overall Epic Games account.” In other words: if you’re looking to buy a skin, an emote or complete your Battle Pass, these 200 V-Bucks come at the right time.
