Fortnite: 100 free V-Bucks valid today only, here’s where to find them

While players’ attention remains focused on Battle Royale skins, another Fortnite mode quietly continues to reward the most loyal with free V-Bucks, every day. It is about Save the Worldthe original PVE mode of the Epic Games game, in which you defend areas against hordes of enemies. Few players know it, but this mode remains today the most profitable method for accumulating V-Bucks without spending anything.

And this January 31, 2026, two very precise missions make it possible to recover 100 V-Bucks in less than an hour. A bargain not to be missed.

The two missions of the day to obtain 100 V-Bucks

Epic Games renews the so-called “alert” missions every day in Save the World. Some of them offer V-Bucks, but they are ephemeral: available only for 24 hours.

Here are the two missions to validate today:

  • Plankerton – Mission: Fight the storm (zone: Grasslands) : 50 V-Bucks at stake
  • Twine Peaks – Mission: Evacuate the shelter (zone: Ghost Town) : another 50 V-Bucks

Once these objectives are achieved, the V-Bucks are automatically credited to your Epic account, which can be used both in the Battle Royale and to purchase passes or cosmetics.

Why this underrated mode is much more generous than we think

Often reduced to a simple “optional” addition, Save the World is, however, a V-Bucks machine. Unlike battle passes or limited promotions, it is based on a regular and structured system of rewards.

Here’s what PVE mode offers:

  • Of the alert missions (like today’s) with free V-Bucks
  • Of the daily login rewardssometimes very generous
  • Of the main and side quests with dozens of V-Bucks at stake
  • Of the basic shield defenseswhich also relate to each success

A player active in this mode can thus accumulate 400 to 800 V-Bucks per weeksometimes much more during special events.

A mode too often forgotten… but still essential

Fortnite is evolving, but Save the World is still there. And much more remains than a vestige of the past. It is a powerful tool for progressing in the gaming ecosystem without taking out your bank card. All it takes is a little organization: one connection per day, a few targeted quests, and you accumulate enough to treat yourself to skins, passes, dances, and much more.

Be careful, however: the mode is paid for with purchase (and not included in the Battle Royale), but it is profitable from the first weeks if you play it regularly. This January 31, don’t miss out on today’s 100 V-Bucks: tomorrow, they will be gone.
