The Japanese company TOHO recently released the first moving image material for the sequel film “Godzilla Minus Zero”. We summarize below.

Due to the great success of the previous film “Godzilla Minus One” (2023), which grossed over 114 million US dollars worldwide and was honored at the 96th Academy Awards for its spectacular visual effects, the release of the sequel “Godzilla Minus Zero” is already eagerly awaited.
Fans have finally been offered a small foretaste in the form of a teaser trailer, which confirms that the action will take place in 1949, exactly two years after the events of “Godzilla Minus One”.
The new evening filler opens in Japanese cinemas on the annual “Godzilla Day” on November 3, 2026 and will also celebrate its premiere in North America three days later. A German start date has not yet been confirmed.
