Dottore continues his quest for power
The quest for Nod-Krai in Genshin Impact should continue here, with Dottore more ambitious than ever wanting to get his hands on all the moons. We thus see most of the characters joining forces to block his path, while the region seems to be swallowed up in strange spheres.
As you will have understood, a new boss will therefore be available in the person of Dottore, in a very special arena and with quite annoying powers (for example he will be able to reverse the directions of your joystick).
Completing these two new Archon quests will also give you to the very first skin for your Traveler. This will also give us the opportunity to explore a completely new area of Nod-Krai located in the northwith a unique quest for the world.
Version 6.3 banners
Columbina will therefore be the first new playable character in this version 6.3 of Genshin Impact. Naturally, it will be Hydro type and will wield a catalyst. It will above all be a support character who will trigger special reactions (Selenofflowering, etc.) for the Dendro, Electro and Geo elements. This last element will indeed receive an unprecedented reaction: the Selenoristallization.
She will be able to inflict damage off the field, while her ultimate skill will allow her to invoke a domain which will increase the damage of lunar reactions and give unique buffs to certain reactions. Additionally, if one of your characters falls in battle, Columbina can directly resurrect them.
Zibai is another follower of Liyue who will finally be playable. She will be a Geo type and will fight with a one-handed sword. She will be able to enter a special state which will cause her to accumulate energy allowing her to trigger an ability on the field, which will inflict damage periodically. It will be more powerful if your team includes Geo and/or Hydro characters. At night, she will be able to continually recharge her elemental energy.
Iluga will be the 4-star character in the update. He is also a Geo type, and fights using a spear. It will increase the damage of lunar reactions, especially Geo and Hydro, and will boost Geo damage in general.
Columbina will be present in the first banner of the updatealongside Ineffa who is making her return. Zibai will be in the second phase with Neuvilette, and Illuga as a 4-star character.
Version 6.3 events
The Lantern Festival makes its big return to Genshin Impact with this version 6.3. Lots of mini-events will therefore be offered, and the story of the Festival this year will be centered on Zibai. Furthermore, the content of this quest will still be available even after the Festival. You can have fun placing lots of lanterns with Happy New Year messages in the streets of Liyue. Like every Festival, 10 limited wishes will be distributed as well as 1,600 primogems and other rewards.
A new event will also be offered for obtain a 4-star character of your choice among all those who hail from Liyuenamely: Gaming, Beidou, Chongyun, Lan Yan, Xiangling, Ningguang, Xingqiu, Yanfei, Yaoyao, Yun Jin and Xinyan.
Another event will give you access to a free costume for Yaoyao. Which makes two free costumes to obtain during this update (along with that of your avatar), while a paid costume will be available for Neuvilette. And that’s without counting a strange horse costume for Paradisia milliastral mode.
6 new characters revealed
HoYoverse didn’t stop there and decided to offer us a slight preview of the next characters to come. We already know quite a bit about them given that they were presented during the announcement of Nod-Krai, but we now know that these silhouettes represent characters who will be playable in updates 6.4, 6.5 and others.
We can easily guess here the presence of Varka and her big sword, while Nicole is also discernible. The other four are a little more vague. Four yes, and not three, because even if we only see 5 characters here, the reflection of a sixth is present at the bottom right. There is a good chance that it was a very important character, whose silhouette would have been immediately identifiable.

When will version 6.3 of Genshin Impact be released?
Version 6.3 of Genshin Impact will be available from Wednesday January 14 around 4 a.m. Maintenance will take place a few hours before, and you will receive prime gems as compensation.
