The Angels of Illusion enter the scene
This new update of Zenless Zone Zero offers a real change of atmosphere, with characters placed under the sign of pop and idols. The Angels of Illusion clan enters the scene.
Our Proxies will obviously have to help the group regain confidence to perform in front of everyone during a very important celebration, Golden Carrot Day (?!). And of course, some threats lurk in the shadows, and new mysterious characters seem to appear. This new quest is described to us as the interlude of the season, a sign that version 3.0 is not very far away.
The banners of version 2.6
First new S-rank character in this update, Sunna (or Sunniva). A physical type support agent that will be ideal for helping your anomaly attack type characters. It will put a small ghost on the enemy which can explode when your more offensive characters attack. It will also be able to increase the attack of the entire team. His ultimate attack will inflict area damage and trigger an ally’s support attack.
Second S-rank agent, Aria, etheric anomaly type. A more offensive character (and also a little more classic) who specializes in charged attacks, provided you gather charges of Ovation, in particular via his ultimate attack which inflicts heavy damage.
To complete this, a new Bangbou will be available, MegaFan. If two members of the Angels of Illusion are in the team, it will increase the squad’s attack while regenerating the characters’ HP.
On the banner side, Sunniva will be available in the first, with Yixuan making his comeback. In the second banner, we will find Aria as well as Yuzuha.
Version 2.6 events
The main event will therefore revolve around Golden Carrot Day, where you will have to somehow be part of the staff behind the Angels show. Several activities will be offered here, including various rhythm games, which will take several forms. This is not the only event that we will spend alongside the Angels since “Angels of Illusion, training in progress!” » will give access to a Tetris-style mini-game.
We will also find the mini-game like Fall Guys with the Bangbous, which will have four new maps and a new game mode. The “Good omens in abundance” event will require going to several NPCs to obtain rewards without crowding too much. As for the “Gravitational Tales” event, it will mark the return of cinema outings with various characters. Speaking of modes making a return, the one where you have to take certain shots in the middle of combat will also be there.
Nether Zero will also be entitled to a new game mode, “Operation Matrix”, with thematic levels which will let us form a normal team, to which will be added bonus agents who will only be able to trigger their ultimate attacks, once the conditions are met.
New outfits will also be available, including one for Sunniva and another for Aria. These will be paid costumes, while a new skin for Pan Yinhu will be given as a reward for the main event. Other accessories for Proxy will also be offered.
Let’s not forget character upgrades. This time, it is Lycaon who will benefit from a buff, just like Harumasa.
