Erosion, a cool voxel roguelite western, is coming to Xbox Series and PC in 2026, with early access in the spring

Decades to find his daughter

Erosion tells the story of a father seeing his daughter kidnapped and taken through a time portal. He will therefore try to rescue her, but there is a very special condition. Each time he dies, he jumps forward ten years, affecting the world he explores as well as the age of his child. You will have understood, so you won’t have to die too often to hope to find her alive.

As mentioned in the introduction, the adventure will take the form of a voxel roguelite. In addition to a certain charm offered by such a rendering, we are promised a lot of possibilities due to the physics of the game and its numerous destructible elements.

We will be able to have many weapons, from the most conventional like the bow or the rifle, to a chicken that shoots eggs. Yes, humor will also be there. We will be able to participate in many activities as varied as each other, such as vehicle races, bounty hunting, card games, participation in duels, and much more.

All this will take place in a western-style open world which will therefore evolve greatly over the course of our choices and our deaths, and therefore, over the decades. A small, quiet corner at a given moment can become the basis of a sect ten years later. We therefore anticipate very high replayability, especially since it will be possible to unlock permanent upgrades via the resolution of quests, which would perhaps make it easier to rewrite history?

Erosion will arrive in 2026 on PC (via Steam and Microsoft Store) and Xbox Series, and will be available Day One on Xbox Game Pass. It will also begin an early access phase in the spring of next year.
