AniMoon Publishing recently announced new details about the German disc release of the anime adaptation of “Sakamoto Days”. We summarize.
Release from June 2026
The first volume of “Sakamoto Days” with the first five episodes is scheduled to go on sale on June 19, 2026 in a Steelcase edition on DVD and Blu-ray. The second volume with episodes 6 to 11 is scheduled for August 14, 2026.
The third volume will then continue on October 9, 2026, before the fourth volume will be available from December 18, 2026. As an extra, there is a collection slipcase for the first volume and an acrylic stand for all four volumes.
The 22-part anime series “Sakamoto Days” ran between January and September 2025 in a German language version and in the original sound on Netflix in simulcast. A second season is already in the works, but has no date yet.
