On the official X account of the anime adaptation of “Draw This, Then Die!” (Japanese: “Kore Kaite Shine”) it was announced today that the series will start on July 3, 2026. You can find a new trailer below.

“Draw This, Then Die!” is created under the direction of Hiroaki Akagi (“Teasing Master Takagi-san”) at Studio Shin-Ei Animation. Hiroko Fukuda (“Our Dating Story”) is writing the script, while Kenji Sagawa is doing the character design.
The opening song entitled “Isho”, which can be heard in the trailer, is contributed by the Japanese singer Tatsuya Kitani (“Opening song of “Nippon Sangoku: The Three Nations of the Red Sun”).
The underlying manga series written by Minoru Toyoda has been published in the “Gessan” magazine in Japan since November 2021. The comedy work is currently neither available in German nor with an English translation.
