Accustomed to divide and conquer, Arc Raiders surprises this week with an unexpected turn. Its last update, stamped 1.15.0introduces a whole new mode Cooperative PvEbreaks with the usual PvP tension, and marks the return of a weather condition feared by veterans. Baptized SharedWatchthe event radically transforms the dynamics of the game by putting cooperation at the center of gameplay.
Shared Watch: a cooperative mode that forces enemies to make peace… temporarily
Available until February 24, 2026the new event SharedWatch offers players to put their differences aside to fight a common enemy: ARC machines.
- No more merits in PvP, alone assistance, destruction and damage inflicted on ARCs allow you to earn rewards.
- The mode focuses on tactical cohesionrewarding squad play, whether between friends or strangers.
On the storytelling side, Embark Studios takes a more symbolic tone: “What happens on the surface stays on the surface – the Raiders must leave their grudges to the tubes.”
The icy return of the “Cold Wave” weather condition in the Rust Belt
The other big new feature of this update concerns the Rust Belt mapwhich welcomes again the condition Cold snapalready seen in December 2025.
- If you stay exposed for too long, you will suffer frostbite then rapid death.
- Finding shelter is essential to survive.
- The loot in these conditions is significantly more generous for the most daring.
THE snowballs and the candle berries are still present, but without an associated event.
Other additions and fixes in version 1.15.0
In addition to Shared Watch mode and the return of the Frozen Tundra, the February update contains several notable improvements:
- Bug fixes matchmaking reviews
- Rebalancing rewards in certain areas
- Adding exclusive cosmetics
- Best network stability
Towards a more cooperative repositioning of the game?
While Arc Raiders had so far stood out for its permanent PvPvE tension, this update paves the way for a more narrative and inclusive approach. The studio is clearly looking to re-engage your community by diversifying the available play styles.
It remains to be seen whether this Shared Watch will become a regular event or if it is just a parenthesis in a post-apocalyptic world where betrayal remains the norm.
