Animal Crossing New Horizons: earn money easily with these 12 foolproof tips

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, crafted items are often worth much more than the raw resources used to create them. For example, a single gold rose might sell for around 1,000 bells, but if you turn six of those golden roses into a gold rose wreath, it can fetch 12,000 bells – or twelve times more profit.

Thanks to update 3.0, it is now possible to craft several items at once directly from your inventory, which greatly speeds up the process. Additionally, players like YouTuber N64Josh have shown that setting up a crafting workshop in front of the Nook Shop makes it easier to mass produce high-yield items, transforming materials into bells with maximum efficiency.

Buy and resell hotel items to earn bells

Update 3.0 introduced the Hotel Resort to your island, complete with a gift shop run by Grams, a member of the Kapp’n family. Players can obtain Hotel Tickets by decorating rooms or crafting requested items, then purchase exclusive items.

Every day, Grams offers two items at a lower price than the catalog, and you can order up to five per day. These items can then be sold to Nook’s Cranny for a nice profit. For example, items like the Artful Screen or Pampas Grass cost 80 tickets and sell for around 2,000 Bells, without spending any Bells to get the tickets.

Rare roses and other high-value crops

Some flowers, such as blue roses, are very popular because they are difficult to obtain through crossbreeding. A player who planted his entire island with blue roses earned more than 6.5 million bells, although this required a lot of planting, pruning and propagation.

A tip is to take advantage of rainy days or use time travel to automatically water your flowers, increasing the chance of generating rare colors. Although time-consuming, this method can pay off big for those who have the patience to apply it.

Quick Tip: Donation Boxes, Stalk Market and Tarantula Hunting

Another strategy is to use the Donation Box when it is the “hot item” at Nook’s Corner. Fill the box with as many Bells as possible, then sell it when it’s in demand: Nooklings will give you double the amount listed, up to 99,999 Bells per box.

For those who prefer to avoid gardening or purchasing/reselling, harvesting tarantulas at night remains a reliable method. On the far islands, these arachnids fetch around 8,000 bells each, and if you wait for Flick to visit, you can sometimes sell them for up to 12,000 bells each. Finally, the Stalk Market remains a classic option: buy low, sell high, and watch for price peaks to optimize your gains.
