About the finale: »Jujutsu Kaisen: Modulo« receives an anime trailer from MAPPA

At the end of the spin-off manga “Jujutsu Kaisen: Modulo”, Studio MAPPA has released a special anime trailer. We summarize.

Trailer for the manga finale

The 30-second video was produced on the occasion of the third and final volume of “Jujutsu Kaisen: Modulo,” which was released in Japanese stores on May 1, 2026 and brought the short series to a close after a total of 25 chapters.

Like “Jujutsu Kaisen,” the spin-off series was penned by Gege Akutami, while the illustrations were contributed by Yuji Iwasaki. In terms of content, this takes place around 68 years after the events of the main series and tells an independent story in a futuristic world.

With the end of “Jujutsu Kaisen: Modulo” another chapter of the extremely successful franchise closes – and who knows, perhaps the spin-off series will also receive a proper anime adaptation at some point.

However, those responsible at Studio MAPPA will probably still have their hands full at first, as the fourth season of the main series, entitled “Jujutsu Kaisen: The Culling Game – Part 2”, was announced just a few weeks ago. However, a start date is currently pending.

The previous three seasons of “Jujutsu Kaisen” are available on demand in this country on Crunchyroll with German and Japanese language versions. In addition, the first two seasons are also available on DVD and Blu-ray.
