The streaming service Disney+ recently announced with a teaser video that production of the second season of the anime adaptation of “Disney Twisted-Wonderland” has begun. We summarize.
Second season in progress
The enormous popularity of “Disney Twisted-Wonderland” on Disney+ probably motivated those responsible to get down to business straight away. Although the eight-part first season only started on October 29, 2025 with German and Japanese dubbing, the sequel is already being worked hard on.
A total of three seasons are planned for the anime adaptation of the successful mobile game, which, like the associated manga series, are titled “Episode of Heartslabyul”, “Episode of Savanaclaw” and “Episode of Octavinelle”.
The two studios Yumeta Company and Graphinica are once again responsible for the second season, with Shin Katagai (“The Ossan Newbie Adventurer”) directing and Takahiro Natori (“Tokyo Mew Mew New”) acting as chief director and script supervisor. Yoichi Kato (“Space Brothers”) is writing the script.
Even though the sequel is already in production, it is currently not known when it will be released on Disney+. As usual, we will of course keep you up to date with all the latest news.
