GTA 6: the final trailer revealed, but a problem arises

While fans are having difficulty digesting the third postponement of Grand Theft Auto VInow set for November 19, 2026, a strange video caused a wave of panic among players. For the past few days, a supposed “final trailer” for the game has been a hit on YouTube. Problem: it is not official.

Created by the channel Teaser Universethis video titled Grand Theft Auto VI – Final Trailer (2026) Rockstar Games already has more than 300,000 views. It is designed with “various special effects, sound design and AI technologies,” according to its creator. This specifies that it is indeed a trailer made by a fan, but that does not prevent Google’s algorithm from distributing it widely, as if it were official content.

Algorithmic promotion that sows confusion

What shocks players is that the video found itself massively pushed in YouTube recommendations and Google results, to the point of making thousands of viewers believe that it was the real trailer. In the comments, confusion is everywhere. “No way everyone was sent here by Google, lol,” one user wrote. Another added: “There’s no way Google is pranking us with a GTA 6 AI trailer before GTA 6 comes out.”

This video appears at a particularly sensitive moment: Rockstar recently postponed the release of the game from May 26 to November 19, 2026. A third postponement which generated anger and frustration, especially since fans were expecting a new trailer in compensation, as had been the case after the previous postponement.

No third official trailer…yet

So far, Rockstar Games has only released two official trailers for GTA 6. Despite rumors and hopes of a “final trailer”, no teasers or announcements have been released as of this writing.

The chain Teaser Universealthough transparent about its status as a fanmade creation, is part of a growing trend of content generated by AI or visual effects, difficult to identify for the general public. And with the unintentional amplification of YouTube and Google, the line between authentic content and fiction is becoming blurred.

As impatience around GTA 6 continues to grow, this incident highlights a flaw: the ability of algorithms to propel unofficial content to the top of searches, without clear warning. We will therefore have to wait a little longer to see the real third trailer. Rockstar, for its part, remains silent.
