The eighth and final season of “My Hero Academia” is again being directed by Naomi Nakayama (“Koikimo”) at Studio BONES. Kenji Nagasaki (“Classroom Crisis”) will once again serve as Chief Director.
The streaming service Crunchyroll has been showing the eleven-part sequel every Saturday at 10:30 a.m. since October 4, 2025 in the original sound with German subtitles in a simulcast. The German language version follows three weeks later.
The seven previous seasons, all four films and the spin-off series “Vigilantes”, whose second season starts in January 2026, are already available in full on demand. The seventh season will be released on DVD and Blu-ray from February 2026.
