The group’s financial results are at half mast
It must be said that with the current very busy schedule, few people are inclined to go back and see the progress made by a game released several months ago. FBC: Firebreak missed his launch, and he will obviously have difficulty recovering from it. Remedy is the first to admit it since the studio indicated to its investors (relayed by Insider Gaming) that despite the update which took place at the end of September, the game still does not achieve the expected resultss:
“ On September 29, Remedy released the first major update for FBC: Firebreak, titled “Breakpoint”, which brought significant changes to the gaming experience. Despite improved player statistics and sales after the update, sales did not meet Remedy’s internal targets. »
The studio is not giving up on updates to the game, however, indicating that it still plans to improve the experience in an attempt to achieve the long-term goals of FBC: Firebreak. We can only wish him good luck in this, but the challenge will undoubtedly be very difficult to meet, if not impossible, especially when we take a look at the Steam figures for the game, which struggles to bring together more than 100 people simultaneously every day.
