The second season of “Trapped in a Dating Sim” consists of a total of twelve episodes, which will be broadcast on Japanese television every Wednesday since July 8, 2026 and shown in simulcast on Crunchyroll. A German language version has been announced, but has no date yet.
The animation studio ENGI is once again responsible for producing the sequel, with Kazuya Miura (“Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!”) directing and Kenta Ihara (“Full Dive”) writing the script.
The twelve-part first season of the fantasy anime ran in Japan between April and June 2022 and is already available in full on Crunchyroll and available on DVD and Blu-ray with German and Japanese language versions.
