New details about the third season were announced today on the official X account of the anime adaptation of »Freezing: Beyond Journey’s End«. A new illustration has also been published, which you can see below.
Starting in October 2027
The third “Frieren” season is being created again under the direction of Tomoya Kitagawa in the MADHOUSE studio. Tomohiro Suzuki is once again writing the script, while Maru Takase and Keisuke Kojima are contributing the character design.
The sequel is scheduled to start on Japanese television in October 2027. A specific date and further details, such as the voice actors, are still pending. As usual, we will keep you updated.
The streaming service Crunchyroll offers the two previous seasons, which ran in simulcast between September 2023 and March 2026, with a German language version and in the original sound on demand. The first season is also available on Blu-ray.

After defeating the Demon King, the elf magician Frieren continues to travel the world. When she sees her former companions again 50 years later, they have aged – and shortly afterwards Himmel dies.
