With the opening of an official website, it was announced today that the manga series “MURCIÉLAGO” is receiving an anime adaptation in the form of a series. You can find a first teaser along with a visual further down in the article.
Starting in 2027
»MURCIÉLAGO« is being created under the direction of director Matsuo Asami (“Vermeil in Gold”) at the Satelight and Staple Entertainment studios. Takashi Naoya (“Am I Actually the Strongest?”) serves as chief director and is writing the script. Kiyoshi Tateishi (“Alice in Deadly School”) creates the character design.
The action series is expected to debut on Japanese television sometime next year. However, a specific date has not yet been announced. We will keep you updated about this as usual.
The original manga series of the same name written by Kana Yoshimura has been published in Square Enix’s “Young Gangan” magazine since April 2013. The work is published by Carlsen Manga with a German translation.
