The streaming service Disney+ has announced three new simulcast titles for the 2026 summer season. We summarize the details below.

Summer 2026 simulcast reboots include, among others »Though I Am an Inept Villainess« and the fourth part of »Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War« in the original Japanese language with German subtitles.
Additionally there is with “The Bond of the Underworld” (Daemons of the Shadow Realm) a latecomer. The new episodes will appear on Disney+ three months after their Japanese TV premiere with German and Japanese dubbing.

New simulcasts on Disney+:
July 4th: “The Bond of the Underworld” (delayed)
On July 4, 2026 Disney+ added the anime series “The Band of the Underworld” to its program. New episodes appear weekly in German and Japanese – each three months apart from the premiere on Crunchyroll.
Action:
Yuru lives in seclusion in a mountain village and earns his living as a hunter. While his twin sister Asa is held captive on a mysterious mission, an attack on the village suddenly plunges both of them into a dangerous conflict.
July 12: “Though I Am an Inept Villainess”
The anime adaptation of »Though I Am an Inept Villainess« runs from that July 12, 2026 in the original Japanese language with German subtitles Disney+ in simulcast.
Action:
In the power struggle between the five clans, the popular Reirin is forced by forbidden magic to swap bodies with her rival Keigetsu.
While Reirin is now supposed to pay for their crimes, she has to fight for her survival in a sick body.
July 25: “Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War”
»Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War« starts on July 25, 2026 at Disney+ in the original dubbing with German subtitles in simulcast.
