Second “Mission: Yozakura Family” season gets sequel + teaser


On the official X account of the anime adaptation of “Mission: Yozakura Family” (Japanese: “Yozakura-san Chi no Daisakusen”) it was announced today that the second season will receive a sequel. You can find a first teaser below.

Starting in October 2026

According to current plans, the second part of the second season will be broadcast on Japanese television from October 2026. A specific date is still pending. The first part started on April 12, 2026 and ended today with the twelfth episode.

The SILVER LINK studio is responsible for the production, with Takahiro Nakatsugawa (“The Great Jahy”) directing and Mirai Minato (“Sasaki and Peeps”) acting as chief director and writing the script.

The streaming service Disney+ has all 27 episodes of the first season from 2024 and all twelve previous episodes of the second season in the original sound with subtitles. The original manga is published by Carlsen-Verlag.
