The “first impressions” of “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners II” will be revealed on June 29, 2026. However, it is not yet known whether fans can expect a teaser or trailer or whether just a new visual will be released.
There is already a new teaser image in advance that shows one of the new characters. You can find this further down in the article. We will of course keep you updated on all further details.
“Cyberpunk: Edgerunners II” tells a new story set in the “Cyberpunk 2077” universe. The Japanese studio TRIGGER is responsible for the production of the anime, which is being created in collaboration with the video game developer CD PROJEKT RED, with Kai Ikarashi (animation director for the first series) taking on the position of director. Bartosz Sztybor is writing the script.
The new series will be released worldwide on Netflix at an undisclosed date. The first series can already be streamed there. In this country, it was also released on Blu-ray by KSM Anime, although the publisher reissued the long-out-of-print Ultimate Edition just a few weeks ago.
