New details about the multiple-delayed release of the limited steelbook edition of the anime classic “Sailor Moon” became known today through product listings at online retailer Amazon. We summarize.

Crunchyroll is currently planning to release the new edition of the first season on DVD and Blu-ray on October 2, 2026. The second season is expected to follow on November 6, 2026.
The third season, which is currently also listed for November 6th, 2026, the fourth season with a planned release on December 4th, 2026, and the fifth and final season, which is scheduled to appear on January 17th, 2027, can be pre-ordered on Amazon as of today. The dates are still unconfirmed.
Crunchyroll previously released the 200-episode series in five regular season boxes. The anime was produced by Toei Animation and originally ran on Japanese television from March 1992 to February 1997.
The streaming service ADN has all seasons in the German language version as well as in the original Japanese language with German subtitles.
