The success of “Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle” continues, but fans apparently have to wait a little longer for concrete news about the second film in the trilogy. We summarize below.
Continuation actively in production
In an interview, Crunchyroll President Rahul Purini confirmed that the second part of the “Infinity Castle” film series is currently actively in production.
Although no date can be given at the moment, studio ufotable is working hard to bring the sequel to the fans as quickly as possible.
Purini also emphasized that they are very keenly aware of the anticipation within the community and hope to be able to announce further information about the next screen offshoot soon.
It was previously confirmed that the final story arc of “Demon Slayer” would be adapted in the form of a three-part film series. The first part started very successfully in cinemas in July 2025 and set numerous records.
The previous four seasons of “Demon Slayer” are available in full on DVD and Blu-ray and are available on demand in this country on Crunchyroll, Netflix, RTL+ and aniverse. A steelbook edition will be released in August 2026.
