Through listings on Amazon and AKIBA PASS it was announced that Crunchyroll will be releasing the anime adaptation of “Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time” (Japanese: “Izure Saikyou no Renkinjutsushi?”) on Blu-ray.
Release in July 2026
The Blu-ray complete box set of “Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time”, which includes all twelve episodes in German and Japanese, is expected to be released on July 17, 2026. As an extra there are promo videos as well as the clean opening and ending.
Studio Comet was responsible for the production of the fantasy series, which ran in Japan in spring 2025, with Naoyuki Kuzuya (“Sweet Reincarnation”) directing and Mitsutaka Hirota (“Raeliana”) writing the script.
All episodes are already available on demand on Crunchyroll with a German language version and in the original Japanese audio with subtitles. A second season is in the works, but does not yet have a start date.
