Mystery novel “The Case Files of Biblia Bookstore” receives anime + teaser


With the opening of an official website, it was announced that the mystery novel “The Case Files of Biblia Bookstore” (Japanese: “Biblia Koshodou no Jiken Techou”) is receiving an anime adaptation as a TV series. You can find a first teaser below.

The anime adaptation of “The Case Files of Biblia Bookstore” is being directed by Mamoru Kanbe (“SHOSHIMIN”) at Studio CloverWorks. Toshiya Oono (“86 EIGHTY-SIX”) is writing the script, while Jun Nakai (“NieR:Automata Ver1.1a”) is contributing the character design.

The main roles of the Japanese voice cast include Riko Akechi (Poemu Kohinata in “The Klutzy Class Monitor and the Girl with the Short Skirt”) as Shioriko Shinokawa and Shunsuke Takeuchi (Aoi Kaguragi in “Kaiju No. 8”) as Daisuke Goura. The launch is expected to take place over the course of next year.

The original light novel series of the same name was written by En Mikami and was published in seven volumes in Japanese stores from April 2011 to February 2017 with illustrations by Hagu Koshijima. The work is not available in German.
