The streaming service Disney+ is expanding its anime catalog in a few days with the anime adaptation of “Jujutsu Kaisen”. We summarize.

The second season of “Jujutsu Kaisen” is expected to be available on Disney+ from April 27, 2026. It is currently unclear whether or when the first season will be released. As usual, we will keep you updated.
A few days after Disney+, on May 1, 2026, Netflix will also expand its anime portfolio to include the second season of “Jujutsu Kaisen”. The first season is already available there.
The 23-part sequel was directed by Shouta Goshozono (key animation on »Fate/Grand Order Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia«) at Studio MAPPA. The first broadcast took place in Japan from July to December 2023.
The anime adaptation of “Jujutsu Kaisen” now consists of three seasons and a prequel film, which celebrated its Japanese premiere in December 2021. A fourth season has been announced, but does not yet have a start date.
