“Tune In to the Midnight Heart” is getting a second season


On the X account of the anime adaptation of “Tune In to the Midnight Heart” (Japanese: “Mayonaka Heart Tune”) it was announced today that the series will be continued with a second season. An illustration of the announcement can be found below.

Concrete details about the sequel, such as who will be involved in the production or a date for the start of broadcasting on Japanese television, are currently still pending. As usual, we will keep you updated.

The twelve-part first season was created at Studio Gekkou, directed by Masayuki Takahashi (“Reborn as a Vending Machine”). Yukie Sugawara (“Alma-chan Wants to Be a Family!”) wrote the script.

The streaming service Crunchyroll already offers all previous episodes of the RomCom series, which ran on Japanese television between January 6th and March 24th, 2026, in the original sound with German subtitles on demand.
