How to call a character to your side in Crimson Desert?
In order to avoid any spoilers on the main adventure of Crimson Desertwe will not discuss when precisely Oongka and Damiane join the cast of playable characters. Be aware, however, that one of them arrives quite quickly in the adventure, while the second must wait approximately half the game (or even two thirds).
When one of them is unlocked, you can control it, unless it is engaged in a special event, which is for example linked to the main story of the game. Also note that only Kliff can be played during the main quest, as well as in certain types of mission. The same goes for Oongka and Damiane, who have dedicated missions, but who can complete quite a few side quests and activities in the same way as Kliff.
To change characters, nothing could be simpler. If it’s available, you simply need to press and hold the top arrow on your controller, slide the joystick to the desired character, and release. A transition to GTA V will then take place, placing you in the character’s boots. Also note that you can do the same thing, but instead of releasing, press A/Cross to call the character to your side. The “Gather” option will then appear on the screen, and the character(s) will accompany you. Practice against bosses in the open world or during fort assaults.
