Grand Theft Auto Online players have a new opportunity to increase their virtual bank account without heists or risky missions. Rockstar Games is launching a Twitch Drops campaign allowing you to collect up to 500,000 GTA$ for free, as well as an exclusive cosmetic bonus. An operation limited in time, which nevertheless imposes certain conditions.
A time-limited Twitch Drops campaign
The promotion began on February 26 and will end on March 4 at 2:59 a.m. PT. The principle is simple: watching participating Twitch streamers playing GTA 5 unlocks progressive rewards.
- 1 hour of viewing: 200,000 GTA$
- 2 cumulative hours: additional GTA$300,000
- 3 cumulative hours: exclusive Street Samurai livery
In total, this represents 500,000 free GTA$. However, not all streamers are eligible: you must watch Japanese creators participating in the “Japan Community Series”.
How to activate rewards
To benefit from the offer, players must:
- Connect their Twitch account to their Rockstar Games account
- Access the Drops & Rewards section on Twitch
- Start a participating stream
- Claim Rewards in Inventory Drops
Once Drops are claimed, rewards may take up to three days to appear in-game. It is also important to note that viewing can be split: the three hours do not have to be consecutive.

This operation comes as discussions around Grand Theft Auto 6 intensify. Rockstar continues to maintain commitment to GTA Online, despite the approach of its next juggernaut. Maintaining regular promotional events allows:
