A demo also available now
For those who have completely missed this title, he will invite us to shaping the story of a protagonist named “Le Clerc”. Wearing both the cap (or rather the helm here!) of fallen bureaucrat and expert in esoteric events, his mission is to investigate a mysterious explosion that targeted a tea room, barely a week before the holding of important elections to decide the future of the city of Norvik. As in any self-respecting C-RPG, it is above all the numerous decisions that we will have to make which will determine the progress and outcome of the game.
In addition to these choices to make, we will also have the opportunity to meet a cast of wacky and colorful characters, as well as take part in turn-based clashes where each roll of the dice could have an impact on our survival or our downfall. It will also be possible to greatly personalize our Cleric through a skill tree, the different branches unlocked by progressing in a quest, and an appearance editor.
As a reminder, Esoteric Ebb will arrive March 3 on PC via Steam. If you are interested in it, note that you can approach it now through a demo offered during the Steam Next Fest and that, by completing it, you will be able to transfer your save directly into version 1.0 which will be deployed in a few days. Be careful though, the C-RPG will only be available in English at launch and no French translation seems planned at the moment.
