Jump more freely than ever
Update 1.1.8Assassin’s Creed Shadows released today, and gives access to several improvements, starting with adding a manual jump. In a game that favors parkour so much, one might wonder why it wasn’t there in the first place, but better late than never for those who want to master the duo’s acrobatics like never before (well, more of Naoe’s, it’s true).
Ubisoft is taking the opportunity to make critical hits a little more visible, while also providing a comprehensive Stats page, if you like numbers all over the place. And if you really like parkour, note that a community challenge is set up in this area (all the information can be found on the official website).
Apart from this update, the publisher also wants to assure us that other updates are on the way, even if the roadmap given to us is rather short term. We will just notice that the extension Tracking Awaji will finally arrive on Switch 2 on March 10. Then it’s time for the first anniversary celebrations, which are still under wraps.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is available on PC, Mac, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, and Switch 2. Be sure to check out our complete guide to learn more about the game.
