The streaming service ADN commented today on the current problems with the VoD release of “Sailor Moon”. We summarize.

In a post on X, ADN explained that it was too »unexpected challenges« came, which is why “Sailor Moon SuperS” had to be removed from the catalog and “Sailor Moon Sailor Stars” had to be postponed.
The re-release of “Sailor Moon SuperS” is now scheduled for April 2026, while “Sailor Moon Sailor Stars” is scheduled for release in June 2026.
Finally, it was emphasized that “Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon” was a license that was very important to the ADN team. They are working on getting the series under “best possible conditions” to be able to offer.
The first three seasons of the popular anime classic are still available on demand both with German dubbing and in the original Japanese version with German subtitles. A disc release was carried out by publisher Crunchyroll, which has announced a new Steelbook edition for April 2026.
