The movement starts today
Announced a few days ago, the strike at Ubisoft led by the STJV, CGT, CFE-CGC, Solidaires-Informatique and Ecological Spring unions starts today and aims to last until February 12. It concerns in particular the premises in Paris, Lyon, Bordeaux, Annecy and Montpellier, the group’s main French studios, but not only that. Several people working within Ubisoft Milan have announced that they are participating in this strike, given that the situation concerns all studios owned by Ubisoft.
For the next 3 days (February 10-11-12th) we in Ubisoft Milan will also be on strike ✊

This protest allows us to address the recent changes that have occurred within Ubisoft in recent months, starting with an agreement on teleworking which is increasingly being put aside, with a request for a return to face-to-face work five days a week. Subject which is added to that of the voluntary departure plan ordered by Ubisoft within its Parisian studio, affecting up to 200 positions (i.e. more than 18% of the studio).
All this in a context where there is a feeling of lack of accountability among leaders. Suffice it to say that Yves Guillemot’s leadership is today more contested than ever, and this is reflected today in this major strike which is mobilizing many people.
