Dread Delusion, the open-world RPG with a retro PS1 aesthetic, is coming to consoles this spring

If ever the mention of Morrowind puts butterflies in your stomach, so Dread Delusion has undoubtedly already aroused your curiosity at the time of its final release on Steam on May 14, 2024. Otherwise, or in the event that you were waiting for a possible console release, well patience has paid off since around two years later, the creation of Lovely Hellplace and DreadXP is preparing to arrive at the various manufacturers.

Absolutely charming thanks to its retro decorations dark fantasy bathed by an intense purple sky, Dread Delusion slips us into the skin of a character that we will shape as we wish. An open world RPG therefore, inviting exploration leading to secrets or the resolution of quests given by NPCs, sometimes with choices to be made which imply several endings for them.

Many gameplay possibilities are planned, by raising the stats of our choice and favoring either magic, strength or discretion. Affinities which will obviously impact the way in which you get out of the different situations with which you will be confronted, making this RPG a rather rich title considering the small means from which it was able to benefit.

Already available on PC, Dread Delusion will be released this spring on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, PlayStation 4, and Xbox Onedirectly integrating all the updates applied since the release, including Hard Mode and Creature Island.
