Titles that reached a million
It’s no secret, Capcom is doing well. Alright even. So much so that it has once again had a record year, even though the fiscal year only ends on March 31. This is notably driven by a catalog of games which continues to regularly sell well, even several years after their launch, as demonstrated by the recent update of their Platinum games, their ranking of best sellers, which they have often updated for almost ten years.
With figures finalized as of December 31, 2025, we learn in particular that Resident Evil 4 Remake surpassed the milestone of 12.2 million units soldor more than 1.1 million copies sold over the last three months of 2025. Excellent feat also for the back-catalogue of the series, with Resident Evil Village (13.5 million in total, for +700,000 at the end of 2025) and Resident Evil 2 (16.8 million, including 500,000 since September 30).
In other notable advances over the last quarter, we can note the 600,000 additional copies for Street Fighter 6 (cumulating the total to 6.3 million) and the 300,000 sales for Devil May Cry 5exceeding 11 million (and which had a record year thanks to the series). Less impressive on paper, even if it continues to sell well, Monster Hunter Wilds sold less over this period than Monster Hunter Rise And Monster Hunter Sunbreak (only 300,000 copies compared to 400,000 and 500.00 respectively for the old games).
Here are the top 10 best games sold at Capcom, as of December 31, 2025:
