The little JRPG of the summer?
Developed by Team Asano, the team behind Octopath Traveler or even Bravely DefaultThe Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales offers an adventure combining real-time action and exploration, a bit like Falcom’s old Ys on PSP.
The story immerses us in a world called Philabieldia, a wild continent invaded by tribes of beasts and where humanity only survives within a single fortified city. We play Elliot, a young adventurer accompanied by his fairy companion Faie, who sets out to explore ancient mysterious ruins discovered beyond the protective walls and ends up embarking on a journey that crosses both space and time.
On the gameplay side, Elliot offers dynamic real-time combat with the possibility of using seven different types of weapons (sword, bow, chains, sickles, etc.) customizable via a magilithe system which modifies their effects. Faie also plays a strategic role by helping us in combat, collecting hard-to-reach items or solving puzzles. In addition, it can be controlled in cooperative mode by a second player.
A sublime (but expensive) collector’s edition for the lucky ones
Available exclusively on the Square Enix store at a price of €239.99, the Collector’s Edition of the title includes :

The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales will therefore be released on June 18 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC.
