The month of February is off to a strong start for subscribers Xbox Game Pass. Five new games have already been confirmed, and some are available today. More will arrive throughout the month, on console, PC or in the cloud.
Among the titles announced: Final Fantasy II, High on Life 2, Indika, Threat And Death Howl. Here are the dates to remember and which formulas you can play on.
Indika and Final Fantasy II open the ball
The very first game added to the catalog in February is Indikaavailable from February 2 for subscribers Ultimate, PC and Premium. This narrative and atypical title, initially announced in January, paves the way for a month full of additions. From the February 3it’s the turn of Final Fantasy II to join the service on Cloud, PC and Xbox Series X|S.
Indika and FFII are aimed at very different audiences, but each has its own audience. The first focuses on an intimate atmosphere and original mechanics, while the second is part of a highly anticipated retro tradition.
Menace and High on Life 2 in Day One
From February 5PC subscribers will be able to discover Threata strategic game tinged with science fiction, available upon release in Game Pass. This is a Day One launcha sign of Microsoft’s constant investment in ambitious independent productions.
Same treatment for High on Life 2which will arrive on February 13 for subscribers Ultimate and PC. Following the crazy FPS from Squanch Games, this second episode is awaited for its caustic humor and its still crazy gameplay.
Death Howl: a delayed console exclusive
Latest addition already confirmed, Death Howl will disembark on February 19. This horrific title, initially launched on PC in December, is coming to consoles for the first time via Game Pass. It will only be accessible to subscribers Ultimate and PCtherefore excluding subscribers to the Premium offer only. Microsoft continues to test different integration strategies between its offers, focusing here on a staggered but targeted release.
