ZDF recently added the anime adaptation of “Tunnel to Summer” (Japanese: “Natsu e no Tunnel, Sayonara no Deguchi”) to its media library. We summarize all the details for you below.
Until June 23, 2026
After the film’s TV premiere on May 24, 2026 at 3:05 a.m., it will now be available free of charge in German and Japanese language versions until June 23, 2026. A repeat on television is currently not planned.
The CLAP studio was responsible for the production of the approximately 83-minute evening filler, which opened in Japanese cinemas in September 2022, and was directed by Tomohisa Taguchi (“Akudama Drive”).
KSM Anime released the film with German and Japanese language versions on DVD and Blu-ray. The original light novel written by Mei Hachimoku is available from Dokico with a German translation.
